ARNO E. MATHIEU:
Dj, Music Maker and Label manager of Clima Records
Every summer, this Parisian based electronic music Producer needs to come back to his roots, in the south of France, where he grew up surrounded by his parents’ Jazz records and family’s traditional Mediterranean food, the place that Arno likes to call “the soil” of his childhood. It is during these annual trips that Arno E. Mathieu find the energy and inspiration to make his future tracks and imagine his next Dj sets.
From all this years of back & forth between the Parisian city life and the smooth atmosphere of his natal region, Arno E. Mathieu has finally found the right balance to make a real mixed music with all his influences. From Techno, Electronic and Afrolatin to Jazz-funk and Duby grooves, Arno’s productions reflect his realy eclectic Dj culture: hybrid and always shaped for the dancefloor. He made tracks for labels like Deeply Rooted House or Real Tone Records and of course many for Clima records…
MARKUS ENOCHSON:
Dj, Music maker and remixer.
Markus Enochson is a pretty old Swedish guy from Stockholm that lives in Paris France now. He has released a lot of records, some house a little techno and a few things you could not even guess. ”Right now I do music that I like, not really concerned about genres or distinction anymore.”

RAIN:
Dj and Graphic Designer for Clima Records.
Based in the south of France (Marseille), RAIN was first a classical and jazz musician. In 88, he discovered the “club” music, which changed his life. DJ since 1995, he’s very eclectik (from detroit techno to disco classics) and has been really influenced by the NYC scene. He is also really envolved in the graphic design of Clima Records, and makes all the artwork of the records and flyers.
TOLYO BLACK STAR:
Djs, Music Makers and remixers
Led by New York and Tokyo-based international DJ Alex from Tokyo and Tokyo-based producer and engineer Isao Kumano, Tokyo Black Star are truly 21st century galactic artists. As their ship has advanced through the galaxy, meeting fellow travelers along the way, Tokyo Black Star have absorbed and translated influences from around the solar system and beyond.
They have released so far 4 EPs on the hi-profile Innervisions label in Berlin, various remixes wordwide including recently Kuniyuki “Birds” (mule musiq), nublu orchestra “Sketches of NY” (nublu), Bing Ji ling “Home” (Lovemonk) and Master H and Greg Oreck “Coffee is ecstasy” (komplex de deep), and they have just released in April 2009 their full length debut album “Black Ships” (Innervisions) collaborating with the NYC based japanese painter Tomokazu Matsuyama. “Black Ships” can be described at once as a nonfiction travel diary, and at the same time as a supreme fiction of traveling through the world of imagination.
Tokyo Black Star has made a great psychedelic remix for Arno E. Mathieu’s track “Heritage”.

FRANCOIS X:
Dj, Music maker and remixer.
Young activist, François X always lived in Paris, France… But his deeper roots began in Africa (in Benin, where his father comes from…The never ending Voodoo Land and his cult of Juju’s holy rhythms and chants).
A soulful musical culture which he discovered at a very tender age (in the mid 90’s) via Dj Deep (paris number one House resource through his many radio show on Fg, Nova etc..) Now ten years in the game his main influences are Detroit and Berlin (imagine Theo Parrish and Omar S battling with Basic Channel for exemple).
And so the music he’s playing today is a toss betwin the original House and Techno made in Detroit and the new the breed of Berlin electrons.
2009 is the year where François X has decided to take his passion for the music to another level and start to create some strong and deep gems. He will release his first Ep on Dj Deep’s label, Deeply Rooted House Records.
François X has made a remix for Arno E. Mathieu’s track “Arp One” and is making special Ambiant tracks for the label. Stay tuned !!…
